Basic Lead is slated to launch a new DISCOP market in Dubai next year, with the organisation forecasting the attendance of more than 1,500 delegates.
The next DISCOP edition, which is set to take place next year from January 29 to 31 at the Madinat Jumeirah resort in Dubai, targets countries from the MENA region, the Indian Subcontinent and South-East Asia. Participants and exhibitors will include global and local suppliers of television content, public and private broadcasters, advertising agencies, brand managers and airtime buyers, alongside pay-TV, satellite and mobile operators, independent producers and alternative online distribution platforms.
“With viewers watching more TV now than ever before, regional co-productions and the trade in adaptation rights continues to contribute significantly to the rapid increase in international sales,” said Patrick Zuchowicki, the founder of the DISCOP markets. “DISCOP Dubai, as all other DISCOP markets, will once again accompany that trend and open doors in new marketplaces that are still difficult to reach.”
