The Loeries, Middle East and Africa’s premier award show, returned for its 46th edition to recognise and celebrate creative excellence from the region.
Publicis Groupe Middle East dominated the event, winning Regional Agency Group of the Year and securing a significant deal of awards, including the prestigious Grand Prix.
“I’m incredibly proud of our teams for this exceptional run at the Loeries, said Bassel Kakish, CEO, of Publicis Groupe Middle East & Turkey.
"Winning Regional Agency Group of the Year is a true reflection of the depth and breadth of the amazing creative talent within our teams. We share these awards also with our clients around the region who have put their faith in us to who trust us to drive their brands forward.”
The Groupe took home 1 Grand Prix, 9 Gold Loeries, 6 Craft Loeries, 9 Silver Loeries, and 14 Bronze collectively. This included standout campaigns like, The Great Indian Dunk for NBA, which won the Grand Prix, as well as JUMP, which won in Film and Film Craft, ultimately leading to NBA being named Brand of the Year.
Other notable wins came from brands such as SAUDIA Airlines, NBA, Home Centre, Omantel, Nana, Babyshop, Cadillac, Dosy, Kinokuniya, Sixieme Son and Protype.
Tahaab Rais, Chief Strategy Officer, Publicis Groupe Middle East & Turkey, said, “Seeing four of our agencies win the beautiful Loeries for a range of real work that addresses a variety of brand and cultural challenges, is gratifying.
“Achieving this in a vibrant, diverse, and creative region like Africa, amid tough competition, feels especially fulfilling. We won across categories from film craft, print, social impact, service design, effectiveness, design, PR and media, and that’s a testament to the insightful, strategically driven and beautifully executed creative ideas. There was one agency group that clearly stood out and it was an honour to represent our talents, with Bassel amongst us in spirit. The applause, love and appreciation from ‘competition’ at the Loeries was also refreshing to see and experience. Thank you to the Loeries for this excellent platform for creativity across MEA.”
