Dubai-based agency, The Classic Partnership will host one of the 2019 New York Festivals Global Awards live judging sessions on October 1st. It is the first time that a UAE based agency has held the live judging sessions.

Ten Creative Heads from the regional offices of the world’s leading agencies, will gather at The Classic Partnership’s headquarters in Media City to judge around 100 entries from around the world, the theme for 2019 being, “Compete with the World, for the World.”  The live sessions provide the opportunity to review digital-based works as well as collateral materials that support a campaign, some of which cannot be judged online.  The live session will occur simultaneously with those being held in seven other locations around the globe; Germany, UK, USA, Mexico, Brazil, India and Australia.

Alok Gadkar, Managing Director and Executive Creative Director, The Classic Partnership comments: “We are very honoured to be hosting this exciting event which brings together some of the region’s top creative talent to recognize advertising excellence in the Health and Wellness sector.   We are looking forward to welcoming our colleagues and hearing their viewpoints and opinions on the outstanding work that has been submitted from across the globe. The occasion is bound to include some interesting opinions and lively debates; it’s this kind of stimulating exchange and dialogue that triggers further insight and creativity, and that’s beneficial for both the advertising industry and the Healthcare sector.”

Fran Pollaro, Executive Director, The Global Awards at New York Festivals added: “We’re beyond excited to have Alok and The Classic Partnership representing the Global Awards in the UAE.  And many thanks for putting together such an incredible jury.  Despite busy schedules, deadlines, and the dedicated mind-space that comes taking on ad challenges in health and wellness and of course, illness, I think it’s really important for those working in this industry to get together and have a day discussing the world and local issues as well as the effectiveness of the work submitted.  Not only is it fair for entries to be evaluated by several different cultures and their unique perspectives, it’s great for the judges and the leaders in the region to take on the discussion.  I always harbor a little hope that somehow it will benefit the region to have these industry professionals collaborating for a day.”
