Tray Mats Design To Challenge Creativity
February 10, 2016
'McOrigami' is an interactive tray-mat design in which one can find five illustrated shapes (cow, potato, chicken, lettuce and egg).
Each shape represents some of the available products at McDonald's outlets. Consumers are invited to read and learn about the quality of the ingredients on each shape and then carefully fold it to create the products' shape. Once completed, the origami creations can be exchanged for the particular free items on McDonald’s menu.
This is a fun approach to engage customers with the brand's products and challenge them by inviting them to show their creativity and educating them about the ingredients all while breathing life into the otherwise thrown away paper tray mats. A campaign created by the team at FP7 agency in Cairo, Egypt.
