Binance Launches ‘Humans of Binance’ to Humanize Crypto Through Real Stories

September 3, 2025

Binance has launched a new global campaign, ‘Humans of Binance‘, a documentary-style content series spotlighting personal stories of how crypto is being used in everyday life.

The initiative marks a notable turn in the exchange’s marketing approach — away from the usual jargon-heavy crypto narratives, toward a more accessible, human-centered perspective on blockchain’s real-world impact.

The series features individuals from around the world — from retirees learning digital finance to parents using crypto as a tool for long-term security.

The debut episode tells the story of Luis, a 57-year-old from Latin America who turned to crypto education through Binance Academy to remain financially active and engaged.

For Binance, the campaign is both a brand exercise and a reputational reset. The company has faced regulatory scrutiny in several markets, yet continues to position itself as a key player in mainstreaming crypto adoption.

With ‘Humans of Binance‘, it appears to be betting on emotional storytelling to help bridge the trust gap between the crypto industry and the broader public.

Rachel Conlan, Chief Marketing Officer at Binance, said the project aims to “build genuine trust” and “showcase the human side of crypto.”

She added that such stories can help demystify blockchain and inspire wider engagement beyond seasoned investors.

In the coming weeks, Binance will release new stories weekly across its digital platforms, inviting users to share their own experiences under the hashtag #HumansOfBinance. Selected submissions will be turned into short animated features, with contributors eligible for rewards from a prize pool of $8,000 in USDC.

In the Middle East and North Africa — one of the fastest-growing regions for crypto adoption — ‘Humans of Binance‘ could strike a particularly relevant chord. Markets like the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia have seen a sharp rise in blockchain awareness and regulation-friendly frameworks, creating fertile ground for crypto education and storytelling-led engagement.

As crypto seeks to rebuild credibility and re-engage mainstream audiences, Binance’s approach signals a shift from transaction to connection — suggesting that the future of crypto marketing may rely less on technology and more on the human stories it enables.

At the end, this is a campaign that is keen on reminding audiences that behind every wallet address, there’s a human story.
