Spotify and its Paris-based agency Marcel unveil the streaming platform's first TV brand campaign in France and its tagline: “Écouter, ça change tout“ ("Listen, it changes everything").
With this film, the brand wanted to give a new light to its signature “Écouter, ça change tout” (French version of the global Listening is Everything) showing the importance of listening with a capital E in people's lives.
Listening to music, but also listening to others and to what surrounds us. To this end, Marcel has created a film that celebrates the connecting power of music.
This film, directed by Vincent Lobelle (of production company Iconoclast), is inspired by true stories.
These teachers, who listen to and are inspired by the lives of their students, by what they are passionate about and what fills their days today, to create a link, to appropriate their codes and thus better interest them.
Obviously here, through music and a sound that one can imagine being listened to more by a bunch of high school students, rap fans, than by a middle-aged French teacher, however cool he may be.
The spot is funny, lighthearted, and it manages to grasp your attention from the start till the last second thanks to the (connecting) power of music.
The new Spotify film "Écouter, ça change tout" ("Listening changes everything") started airing in 20 and 30-second formats on TV and digital.
