Pizza with beer is the official party food. However, in Colombia, pizzerias close at 11 p.m., just when the party is getting started.
That's why Poker, the local Colombian brand dubbed as “the beer of friends”, had to do something so people could enjoy their favorite pizza with Poker beer.
In Colombia, 70% of deliveries in the country are still ordered by phone.
So, the creative team at DDB Colombia came up with the genius idea to take over the phone lines of many neighborhood pizza shops during closing time and redirect the calls that were coming up to the Poker line. Smart move to say the least..
Thus, every order that customers made from these allied pizza shops was delivered from the hidden kitchen where real pizza were baked and always accompanied by a Poker beer.
Everyone knew that after 11pm, there's pizza with Poker beer.
