The AdForum PHNX Awards have established a tradition of honoring creativity, innovation, and the individuals behind impactful ideas. This year marks a significant milestone with the introduction of the awards’ first-ever trophy.

Designed by Landor, a prominent global branding consultancy, the new trophy serves as more than just a recognition of achievement; it is an interactive piece that winners can stack and collect over time.

Made from 3D-printed plastic, the trophy incorporates a playful element, inviting customization. Recipients have the option to either order their trophy in various colors corresponding to the medals won or produce the trophy themselves.

won, turning each victory into a unique addition to a growing collection.

Philippe Paget, CEO of the PHNX Awards explains: ”The trophy embodies the spirit of innovation, creativity, and resilience that defines our industry. As the first trophy that winners can 3D print themselves, it not only celebrates exceptional talent, but also promotes sustainability and logistical efficiency. This approach aligns perfectly with our commitment to recognizing and honoring those who dare to think differently. By allowing winners to print their own trophies, we empower them to be part of the process.”

The trophy design was conceptualized by designer Minhoo Park and Head of Product Experience, 3D Jack Holloway, at Landor's London studio.

The design draws inspiration from the letters of PHNX, creating a modular and bold piece that symbolizes the journey of success.

Holloway adds, "We wanted the trophy to embody the PHNX Awards' values, showcasing accessibility and equality while incorporating an element of playfulness that is crucial to creativity. We look forward to seeing how winners personalize their trophies through color and material choices."

Since its launch in 2020, the PHNX Awards have aimed to be the most accessible and inclusive creative competition worldwide, welcoming voices from all corners of the industry, including creatives, marketers, journalists, strategists, agency leaders, and consultants. The awards feature a diverse jury, providing not only recognition but also constructive feedback and visibility for all entrants.

“A diverse jury enables a richer evaluation of the submissions,” notes Paget. “Winning a PHNX Award stands for creative excellence as well as a commitment to inclusion and innovation.”

The introduction of this new trophy aligns with that mission, providing a tangible symbol of recipients' achievements.
