Flying Pictures and Amis Productions join forces

Flying Pictures has announced a new management team, as it joins forces with Amis Productions.

This combination creates one of the world’s largest gyrostabilised film and broadcast camera groups with an expanded, passionate and creative team bringing greater innovation, capability and resources to the game.

Flying Pictures is a world leader in the provision of helicopter and drone cinematography for feature films and commercials. With well over 300 credits spanning the company’s 40 year history, including 13 Bond movies, the Mission Impossible series and seven of the Star Wars franchise, the company has unique experience and history in achieving the finest aerial images in the world.

Amis Productions is an award winning specialist provider of gyrostabilised camera solutions for helicopters, drones, boats and tracking vehicles, working across a range of disciplines, from high-end live outside broadcasts to bespoke feature work. Creative excellence, operational know-how and technical reliability have earned Amis Productions a unique reputation amongst a long list of high profile clients including the BBC, RAI, Americas’s Cup, Olympic Games, Rolex and the Volvo Ocean Race.
