Current Global Lands OSN’s MENA PR Mandate

OSN Group has appointed Current Global MENAT as its exclusive PR agency, in a move that underscores the entertainment powerhouse’s ambitions to expand its voice across the region.

Part of the Middle East Communications Network (MCN), Current Global will steer OSN Group’s external communications, spanning OSN+, OSNtv, Anghami, and its B2B offerings. 

The remit focuses on earned-first media and creative campaigns that amplify the Group’s expanding portfolio, strategic partnerships, and all projects across streaming and linear platforms.

With a portfolio that combines premium international programming, Arabic originals, and the region’s go-to music and podcast platform Anghami, OSN has evolved into one of MENA’s most influential entertainment ecosystems. 

The company’s roots stretch back to the 2009 merger of Orbit and Showtime Arabia, but its more recent merger with Anghami has positioned the Group as a unique regional hybrid—bringing together streaming video, music, and audio under one umbrella.

Peter Jacob, Managing Director of Current Global MENAT, said the agency’s role will be to bring that story to life: “OSN is uniting technology, music, and video to become the Middle East’s most comprehensive entertainment streaming service.
