The New York Festivals (NYF) Health Awards has announced its 2025 Shortlist Jury, gathering leading creative and medical minds from 20 countries to evaluate the year’s most impactful healthcare, wellness, and pharma campaigns.
This year’s lineup spans global agency networks and specialist shops—including McCann Worldgroup, VML, Publicis Groupe, Klick Health, FCB Health, Havas Lynx Group and more.
But for ArabAd readers, the highlight is possibly the Middle East’s stronger-than-ever presence on the jury.
The UAE alone contributes five judges across disciplines: from executive creative leadership to medical strategy, their inclusion signals how far the region has come in establishing itself as a serious player in healthcare communications.
What does it say?
While Middle Eastern talent has appeared on NYF panels before, having this breadth of representation—creative, strategic, and scientific—marks a step change, and places regional voices firmly in the global conversation on pharma and wellness creativity.
“Bringing together such an accomplished panel ensures that shortlisted work reflects not only creativity but also cultural and medical relevance,” said Jennifer Vizina, Executive Director of the NYF Health Awards, noting that global perspectives and local insights alike will help spotlight the most forward-thinking campaigns.
For a region often underrepresented in global pharma awards, five UAE jurors at NYF 2025 marks more than visibility—it’s a signal that Arab talent is now helping set the global standard in health creativity.
Next Steps
Entries chosen by the Shortlist Jury will move to the trophy round, judged live in New York this November.
The Health & Wellness Executive Jury will be chaired by Allison Ceraso, CCO at Digitas Health, while the Pharma Executive Jury will be led by Kathleen Nanda, CCO at FCB Health New York.
The final deadline to enter the 2025 NYF Health Awards is October 24, 2025.
