Banque Libano-Française believes that women have an essential, active and equal role in society, and that they can achieve great successes on all levels.
A TVC spot has recently rolled out to stress on the fact that women hold today 49% of BLF managerial positions.
In a world that too often limits a woman’s life journey to marriage and procreation, while reserving key positions to men, Banque Libano-Française commits to gender equality and strives to break this archaic concept through introducing women into the real, professional and equitable world.
As a matter of fact, many women stood out in the most important managerial posts at Banque Libano-Française, including General Manager Raya Raphaël Nahas, as well as Hoda Assi, Assistant General Manager and Director of Corporate Banking, in addition to Josephine Chahine, Assistant General Manager and Director of Risk Management, and many others in the top and middle management of the Bank. Over and above, it is worth mentioning that more than half of the Bank’s jobs are held by women.
Raya Raphaël Nahas said: "In the framework of our interest in achieving the sustainable development goals, our focus at Banque Libano-Française is to maintain gender equality and this falls under our top priority. Not only does the proportion of women workers account for more than 50%, but we have also entrusted them with 49% of our managerial positions."
