Volvo pioneers an AI-driven brand film for its return to Saudi Arabia

Volvo joined the fast-growing world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Saudi Arabia’s first AI generated brand film with its ‘Come Back Stronger’ campaign.

Powered by LION, the creative powerhouse of Fast Ventures, and Electromin, the e-mobility branch of Saudi company Petromin, this collaboration blends cutting-edge technology with what looks like a compelling storytelling.

 “Volvo’s return to the region deserved more than just another campaign, it needed a statement,” said Hussein M. Dajani, Chief Marketing Officer of Petromin.

“By harnessing AI, we have transformed the way stories are told, delivering a film that is both visually stunning and executed with remarkable agility. This is what the future of marketing looks like-- a perfect balance between vision, technology, and creativity. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved with LION, whose expertise brought this idea to life in record time.”

LION’s AI-led approach helped reduce production time, and offered a more efficient way of filmmaking. The technology not only accelerated the process but also unlocked fresh creative opportunities, enhancing the film with greater precision and depth; while Electromin contributed its expertise in smart mobility, ensuring the project aligned with Saudi Arabia’s drive for sustainable development.

The ‘Come Back Stronger’ campaign, strengthened with ‘Come Back Greener and Come Back Electrified’ –variations sur le même thème--, shows that Volvo is in sync with Saudi Arabia’s vision, keen to advance both creativity and innovation to shape a sustainable future.
