Homegrown Italian restaurant, Pizzaro, has just undergone an exciting brand transformation. 

What started as a standalone location in 2011 has grown to a well-loved chain spanning 5 cities and 12 locations in the United Arab Emirates today.

As part of its transformation, the brand is unleashing a new logo, visual identity, and a new positioning as traditional unconventional. 

Renowned for delivering fresh handmade pizzas with authentic and unconventional flavours, the restaurant’s inspiration for this revamp follows its new campaign slogan ‘The Italian that gets you,’ which captures an Italian chef’s desire to create an unconventional Italian menu following his travels from a small town in Italy to Dubai, where he explored a wide array of flavours and food.

This rebrand, which was done in-house, seeks to better reflect the profile of its loyal customers in the region while tapping new audiences with the same traditional tastes and flavours, with an unconventional twist.

Driven by its commitment to connect with customers, Pizzaro’s fun and quirky rebrand places innovation and customer loyalty at the core of its growth strategy. With a relatable motto of unconventional Italian and experimental localised flavours, Pizzaro says it aims to break cliches associated with Italian pizza.

By embracing open innovation, Pizzaro aims to harness the collective power of the community with regular roll-outs of localised flavours and dynamic dine-in experiences. The changes to the brand reflects Pizzaro’ continued dedication towards becoming the most sought after localized urban pizza brand in the region.
