At a ceremony at the iconic Angel Orensanz Center in New York City, the International ANDY Awards announced the 2024 winners of their 60th annual edition.

The International ANDY Awards has announced their 2024 winners, as they celebrated their 60th anniversary of recognizing creative excellence.

To highlight some of the major global wins, the highest honor that shines light on the power of the idea Best In Show GRANDY, has been awarded to creative agency, Marcel for their work “WoMen’s Football” for Orange, a campaign that helped expose the biases of women’s football, in particular a widely-held belief that the women’s team lack technical skills. The campaign only meant for the French market went viral worldwide.

MRM Chile won top honors in Bravery for their “We Didn’t Write This” campaign for NotCo/NotMilk, as the company fought through a strong lawsuit in which presented them as a company without scruples that was misleading consumers to buy a product that was not milk. After years of back and forth, the agency took several excerpts from the lawsuit and turned them into ads – as the lawyers' writings turned out to actually define NotMilk in the perfect way.

For the first time, Accenture Song’s The Monkey’s was honored with Best In Show for Craft for their work “Play It Safe”, created for the Sydney Opera House’s 50th Anniversary to reawaken Australia’s once-great creative spirit – the defiant, reckless, boundless dreaming that led to a place like the Sydney Opera House being built in the first place.

In addition, The Monkeys were presented with the Best Of Region title in APAC.

The Best In Show RESET award belongs to McCann NY’s for their campaign with Microsoft, AdLam, the updated version of the Adlam alphabet – leading the way for McCann Worldgroup to secure Network of the Year and IPG as Holding Company of the year; leaving them with a total of 26 wins across their agencies.

Additionally, the Public Service Honor and Social Good award has been given to Publicis Conseil and Solar Impulse for their “Ready to Vote” work, a campaign around solving the gap between environmental challenges. As Solar Impulse continues their efforts in sharing work that is meant to have great impact on society, the agency has been awarded a $10,000 donation from The International ANDY Awards to continue their work.

IMPACT BBDO led the awards tally for the Middle East and North Africa region, winning three Gold ANDYs, as well as the “Best of SWANA region” ANDY.

This is the second year in a row that IMPACT BBDO has led the region at this iconic global show.

This year, “Newspapers Inside the Newspaper Edition” for AnNahar won Golds for Idea and Bravery, while “Schoolgirl Newscasters” for EBM won Gold for Idea. The “Best of SWANA region” accolade went to “Schoolgirl Newscasters.”

The ANDYs organization invests in the future of the industry by earmarking funds each year to further support the creative endeavors of those beginning their careers.

Best In Show within the Student Competition belongs to “Delivery for Mr. Frogula” from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. The Best in Show Student Award comes with a $10,000 Scholarship for the creative team.

For the first time ever, the Jury acknowledged outstanding craft within the student competition to students at University of Television and Film Munich for their work “Hyperlink Rabbit Hole”.

The Jury also acknowledged merits of innovation from students of Sookmyung Women's University for their work ‘Google Walkers’.

The ANDYs describe themselves as an “idea” based show, in all mediums and forms viewed in equal weight through a different lens including Craft, Reset/Innovation, and Bravery. There are no other categories, and all work is judged for the idea.
