The annual Pikasso d’Or Awards, recognizing the best creative work in Out-of-Home, has announced its 2023 winners for Lebanon during the 28th annual Awards Ceremony held today, Wednesday, February 21.
The Awards Ceremony took place at the most prestigious Fondation Charles Corm, located in the iconic white tower, a nod to the American Skyscrapers, built by him in 1928 to house the Ford dealership cars and trucks for the Levant, before dedicating his life to publishing and cultural events.
The guest list included leading advertising agencies and clients, as well as representatives from the media.
All winners were chosen by the Pikasso d’Or International Grand Jury comprising five major creative and advertising professionals, with Andrew Rawlins, an acknowledged expert in advertising, and Founder of Epica Awards, as President of the Jury, appointed for this edition by Alain Weill the Honorary President of the Pikasso d’Or.
The jury also included for the very first time three adwomen to represent Lebanon: Hana Khatib, Chief Operating Officer, Efficiency Hubs, GroupM MENA and Regional Managing Director, GroupM Levant; Joumana Mikaelian, Managing Partner at Pimo Lebanon; Sara Assaf, Managing Partner at Force Majeure, Lebanon; Fahid Ibrahim, Creative Director at Wunderman, Jordan and Hafidh Mezani, COO/Media Director at Lotus Conseil Algeria.
For the 28thedition of the Pikasso d’Or Awards, 147 visuals & videos were presented by 22 agencies and were selected according to the following categories: Best Use of Billboards, Best Use of Supersize , Best Use of Mall Advertising, and Best Use of Digital Out-of-Home.
