The annual Pikasso d’Or Awards, a competition recognizing the best creative work in Out-of-Home, is back after three years of halt. The awards are back to big but still on the quiet as outdoor advertising wasnt prolific during the past two years in Lebanon.

Organized by outdoor company Pikasso to reward the best outdoor campaigns for the years 2021-2022, the honorees were celebrated during the 27^th annual ceremony on Monday, February 8 at the Sursock Museum.

All winners were chosen by the Pikasso d’Or Grand Jury of six major creative and advertising professionals, with Andrew Rawlins, an acknowledged expert in advertising, as President of the Jury appointed for this edition by Alain Weill the Honorary President of the Pikasso d’Or. 

The jury also includes: Samer Younes, Executive Creative Director at M&C Saatchi Lebanon; Sami Saab, Founder CEO and Creative Director at Phenomena, Lebanon; Lea Salibi Senior Creative Director at Leo Burnett Beirut; Eyad Hussein, Associate Creative Director AdPro, Jordan and Khalil Benbarkat, General Manager at UM, Algeria.

For the 27^thedition of the Pikasso d’Or Awards, 104 visuals were presented by 20 agencies and were selected according to the following categories: Best Use of Billboards^; Best Use of Supersize; Best Use of Mall Advertising; and Best Use of Digital Out-of-Home.

THE RESULTS OF THE PIKASSO D’OR 2023 for Iraq:

For the 27^thedition of the Pikasso d’Or Awards, 9 visuals were presented by three agencies and were selected according to the following categories:

PIKASSO GOLD – IRAQ LOTO (in-house)

PIKASSO SILVER – by M&C SAATCHI ASIACELL

The Pikasso d’Or Jordan for 2023 will be held in Amman on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the Four Seasons Hotel, The Pikasso d’Or Algeria will be held in Algiers on Monday, February 20 at the Holiday Inn Hotel and finally the Pikasso d’Or Mali Chapter will be held in Bakamo later this year.
