Three Dubai-based Colombian nationals who work in advertising have recently gained recognition at a prestigious industry-related festival. All three—Paula Andrea Neusa Zambrano, Art Director at TBWA\Raad, Sebastián Galindo and Johan Granados, both Senior Copywriters at MullenLowe MENA Dubai—have in fact seen their creativity celebrated at El Ojo de Iberoamerica, the most important festival in the Hispanic region.

The international festival of creativity, which is renowned for its Latin perspective on creative communications, introduces each year a competition to discover, recognize and foster the talent of young professionals and students from around the world.

As young professionals in the advertising industry, Paula, Sebastian, and Johan decided to join in as one creative force and registered in the El Ojo de Iberoamerica New Talents 2022 competition that called for all entrants to draft three campaigns answering three specific briefs.

The briefs were as follow:

Brief 1: Michelob Seltzer : “Road to Relevance”, sponsored by ABInBev.

Brief 2: “Comprehensive Sexual Education, a right for all”, sponsored by Amnesty International.

Brief 3: “You are also an Alternative Artivist”, sponsored by Crayola.

They came up all together as a creative team with three campaigns, one to solve each brief.

Paula, Sebastian, and Johan scored an unprecedented performance, as they managed to not only win a Gold award but also to see that their three ideas were shortlisted in the festival—something that happens once in a lifetime.

The Gold award was earned by the trio’s for their Michelob Seltzer campaign titled “The Cooler Collection.”

The two other campaigns "Artivism unlocked" and "Mal-Educados" have been selected among the finalists.

El Ojo de Ibero-America took place from November 9 to 11 in Buenos Aires, with 16 Jury Presidents, 350 jurors, more than 40 international, regional and local conferences and thousands attending in person and many more following on the festival's streaming platform.

This year the festival celebrated 25 years of recognising the best talent, the best companies and the most creative work in Ibero-America.
