The website of Arabic magazine Hia has won for the third consecutive year the "Best Lifestyle, Sports, Entertainment Website or Mobile Services" award at the Middle East Digital Media Awards 2018, an event held by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA).
Also, this year, Hia Magazine won the “Best Digital Marketing Campaign” awarded for a campaign done for Tiffany & Co.. Hia Magazine was also the only Arabic language publication to win in two main categories.
After this crucial win at the regional level, Hia's website qualifies to compete internationally alongside the winners from Europe, America and rest of Asia for the annual awards organised by WAN-IFRA to elect the best websites in the world and honor exceptional initiatives in the world of digital media.
The awards were presented to Hia Magazine during a grand celebration attended by prominent figures from the Middle East and the rest of the world.
Mai Badr (Editor in Chief – Hia Magazine) expressed her pride and joy, stressing that this formidable achievement was realised due to the collective efforts put in by the editorial family and the members of the Hia team. Last year 2017 in addition to the "Best Lifestyle, Entertainment or Sports Website" Hia Magazine also won the award for "Best Innovation New Product" which was awarded to Hia Boutique's affiliate e-commerce mini website.
