Volkswagen Middle East and Disney mark four years of collaboration celebrating courage and kindness.
This year brings together Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration and Volkswagen’s Teramont in a series of heartwarming short videos inspired by popular Disney Princesses – Moana, Rapunzel, and Jasmine. Under the tagline “courage will take you there”, the films demonstrate how traits of courage and kindness can help young ones overcome difficult situations, aligning with Volkswagen’s positioning as a family-first brand.
Volkswagen also brings magic to its customers through a Disney-inspired Enchanted Castle at Al Nabooda Automobiles, Volkswagen’s authorized dealer in Dubai. The Enchanted Castle features puzzle books, colouring walls and a Disney movie screening area for children to explore their creativity.
The collaboration between these two beloved family brands follows the successful Disney Pixar campaign in 2020 for the 25th anniversary of Pixar and campaigns for the premieres of Disney’s Aladdin, The Lion King and Frozen II in 2019.
“Volkswagen and Disney are two brands firmly associated with creating memorable moments for families. By celebrating the courage, kindness and bravery of the well-loved Disney Princesses and the synergy with the Volkswagen Teramont, we are pleased to take our collaboration with Disney forward and produce more inspiring content, engaging and spreading magic amongst families across the Middle East,” commented Anja Petrovski, Marketing & PR Director of Volkswagen Middle East.
The latest activations help mark Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration, a yearlong event spotlighting the courage and kindness Disney heroines inspire in fans all around the world. From Cinderella’s generosity and Belle’s ingenuity to Mulan’s selflessness and Moana’s adventurous spirit, Disney is honoring these strong women through music, experiences, products, and a campaign to give back to children around the world.
The Volkswagen and Disney collaboration will run from January 21st for three months across social and digital as well as Volkswagen’s owned digital channels.
