WOO Taps Cheil’s Hun Choi as Keynote speaker for Seoul Forum

Cheil Worldwide’s Hun Choi joins JCDecaux’s Daniel Hofer as keynote speaker at WOO’s Regional Forum in Seoul, spotlighting OOH’s evolving role in a data-driven world.

The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) has announced Hun Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of Solution Division at Cheil Worldwide, as the second keynote speaker for its upcoming Regional Forum in Seoul, set for November 5–7. He joins Daniel Hofer, Senior Executive at JCDecaux, who was previously confirmed.

With more than 27 years at Cheil, Choi has led major media and creative integrations for brands such as Samsung, redefining how data and creativity converge to drive impactful campaigns. 

At the Forum, he’s expected to explore how Out of Home (OOH) media is reclaiming relevance in a marketing world obsessed with personalisation—arguing that its power lies in something more human and universal.

“Growing the medium in a world increasingly dominated by narrowcasting is one of the big challenges for Out of Home,” said WOO President Tom Goddard. “But it also represents a massive opportunity to make its case to the world’s biggest advertisers. There is no better guide than Hun Choi who has spent much of his distinguished career doing exactly that."

The event will gather regional and global leaders to examine how OOH can leverage innovation and human connection to thrive amid digital saturation.
