Sampled sands from the UAE make up the ‘Colour of Unity', Jeep’s way in celebrating 'Eid Al Etihad'

To commemorate UAE National Day, Jeep Middle East and Jotun paint brand joined forces for the release of the ‘Colour of Unity’, a truly distinctive and unique tribute for a special celebration.


In celebration of the UAE’s 53rd National Day and the spirit of the union, Jeep Middle East and Publicis Middle East have collaborated with Jotun, the renowned paint brand, to create the ‘Colour of Unity’, a custom paint colour.

Inspired from the combination of sands from all seven emirates, this unique shade has been created as a tribute to the nation’s diverse landscapes and enduring spirit of togetherness, transforming the country’s natural beauty into a powerful symbol of unity. 

The way, it all came together is also an interesting story that was released right on time for UAE’s 'Eid Al Etihad' (Union Day), celebrated annualy on December 2.

Jeep tasked Emirati presenter, social influencer, and dedicated Jeeper, Alyaziah Obaid with a mission: explore all seven emirates in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 and collect sand samples from each diverse landscape. Jotun’s Colour experts then blended the sands to find a singular colour, evoking the beauty of the UAE’s landscapes and reflecting the unity of the nation. 

To commemorate UAE National Day, Jotun has released the ‘Colour of Unity’ as an exclusive wall paint, available now in their stores across the UAE.

Jeep has also transformed this colour into a limited-edition vehicle paint, available exclusively through Trading Enterprises and Western Motors, Jeep’s dealers in the UAE, allowing anyone to pay tribute to the UAE by changing the colour of their vehicle.

Similarly, the UAE is a beautiful blend of cultures, colours, people, landscapes, and sands. To capture that was a beautiful exercise that represented what this country is all about. To create the colour, we collected the different sands of the UAE desert and combined them. We worked with a group of chemists, to compose the perfect colour formula, translated from the sand. The end result was The Colour of Unity. Warm, earthy, grounded, elegant and the first of its kind, just like the UAE.”

With this new colour, the spirit of adventure and unity are forever intertwined, bringing fresh perspective on the inspiring landscapes of the UAE.
