Boutique production house electriclime° teamed up with Wunderman Thompson Dubai for the launch of an exciting new musical piece for Dubai Tourism.
At the heart of this advertising spot, the amazing dance prowess of professional Irish Riverdance duo, the Gardiner Brothers, who star in a film that aims to promote the emirate across the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.
The 30-second high-energy film has put Dubai on the travel bucket list of a specific group of travellers, portraying the city as the ultimate holiday destination with diverse experiences.
Directed by the talented Lebanese filmmaker Chadi Younes and with Mik Allen as Director of Photography, the spot shows Dubai in its best angles, taking the viewers around iconic locations, showcasing its beauty with originality and creative flair under blue skies, around golden dunes and against the city’s wondrous skyline.
"We spent a week dancing around Dubai working with VisitDubai, the official tourism board in Dubai, and it was one of the most incredible experiences we have ever had!!!" wrote the dancing duo on their YouTube channel.
The Gardiner Brothers, Michael and Matthew, are five-time World Champions of Irish dance who literally globe-trot to their own beat, churning choreographies filled with skill, mastery and grace to captivate audiences from city to city.
With 2.5m followers on TikTok and more than 700K on Instagram, the duo has grown to become an internet sensation, as they embrace social media in their own way.
“The brothers were a treat to work with,” Director Chadi Younes said. “And just like them, on their first trip to Dubai, we were able to approach the project with fresh eyes, and the same joyful sense of adventure.”
