David, one of the industry’s top creative shops worldwide, has recently unveiled a new visual identity.

Created in-house and led by David Madrid CCO Saulo Rocha, the new identity comes with a bolder font that pays tribute to David Ogilvy but also celebrates its people.

As the agency celebrates 10 years of creativity, it continues to pay homage to its namesake, with David Ogilvy’s silhouetted portrait taking center stage in the newly designed logo. But the rebrand is more about the people who work at David than Ogilvy himself, as 350+ versions of a logo have been created.

400 people work at David representing almost 30 different nationalities, hence the refreshed identity is a custom tool where each team member can use as their own profile as the logo.

The new visual identity brings the letter D with the figure of David Ogilvy at the center. The secondary typography has been replaced with the HW Cigars font.

This new visual identity will be on everything from email signatures to reconstructed office layouts, as David welcomes a hybrid work model.

David agency was born from the creative legacy of David Ogilvy. It has grown steadily since it was founded in 2012 by WPP as a creative shop in Brazil and Argentina. The network added Miami in 2014, then Madrid in 2019, Bogota in 2021 and New York earlier this year to better serve clients including AB InBev and Coca-Cola. It has created iconic work for major brands including Burger King and Coca-Cola that have won industry top prestigious awards. Today David operates throughout six offices on three continents.
