The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) is boosting its membership growth with the addition of another 13 organizations, eight of them from the APAC region, three from Europe and one each from the United States and Africa.
The increased interest from Asia reflects the dynamic growth of OOH in that region, also mirrored by WOO holding its annual Congress in June this year in Hong Kong.
Four of the new members are international or national media owners, four are OOH service providers/suppliers, three are global media agencies, one is a national OOH association and one is a creative media art company.
The new members are:
Out Medya --- global media agency, Turkey
Panout Medya --- global media agency, Turkey
Guangzhou Metro Media Co --- national media owner, China
Adtech --- OOH service provider/supplier, Singapore

The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) is the only global Out of Home Association, working to promote and improve the OOH industry on behalf of its members. Membership is open to all companies who operate in the OOH sector and, as a non-profit Organization, funds are reinvested in industry issues such as research and the annual international congress.
WOO Chief Operating Officer Mark Flys says: “Our work in helping members exchange ideas and insights, learn from each other’s experiences and share best practice in all sectors of the medium is providing real value to the industry and attracting the leading players in every region.”
Board members of WOO include the major international companies - JCDecaux and Clear Channel - as well as blowUP media from Europe, OUTFRONT Media and Lamar from the US, Selvel One from India, Primedia from South Africa, oOh!media from Australia and Asiaray from Hong Kong.
WOO is also continuing its work in emerging markets with its first in-person Africa Regional Forum, which takes place from March 11-13 in Cape Town, South Africa.
