The Gerety Awards’ full Middle East jury has been announced along with the early bird deadline until Friday, March 8th.

The Gerety Awards are open to all advertising agencies, advertisers, studios and production companies worldwide. Both national and international campaigns may compete. Entries submitted must be broadcast, published or released in a commercial environment with client approval between January 1st, 2023 and the closing date.

The judging criteria revolves around originality of the creative ideas and the quality of their executions.

More than 200 judges from 47 countries will join the 2024 Gerety Awards, with in person jury sessions held in 15 locations. As well as defining the shortlist the executive jury sessions each select the agency and production company of the year from their country. This is chosen from the entrants of the Portfolio Cut.

Of course, since the Gerety is known for celebrating the best in advertising from a powerful perspective, through its female-only led jury, hence creating a benchmark that is relevant to the market reality, the Middle East jury panel includes women from the regional ad industry, all reputed communication professionals who will gather to assess and recognize the best entries for this Gerety edition.

The Middle East jury is led by Marie-Claire Maalouf, CCO, Edelman ME.

On announcing the jury Marie-Claire, said: "Stepping into The Gerety Awards, is more than just a role — it's a journey of influence within the ever-evolving communication industry. I am excited to collaborate with this exceptional group of remarkable women leaders from the region, drawing inspiration from our varied backgrounds to bring unique insights to the table, promising a dynamic and balanced evaluation process. The Gerety Awards Middle-East is more than recognition for best in class work; it's a platform to offer a powerful perspective and showcase the vivid tapestry of our region."
