The Creative Floor Healthcare Awards, celebrated the world’s best health and wellness creative work, agency talent and clients yesterday at its 11th year extravaganza in London.
Klick Health won the Most Awarded Agency; IPG Health won the Most Awarded Network; and Tim Hawkey from Area 23 picked up the inaugural Hall of Legends award, which is the highest honor bestowed by the show to celebrate individuals who have made an extraordinary contribution to creativity with the healthcare industry.
The Creative Floor Healthcare Awards was founded in 2013 by Shaheed Peera. The aim was to help change the way award shows are run. Not only do the awards celebrate world-class creative but also agency people (various roles), clients and healthcare companies.
In its 11th year now, The Creative Floor continues to be the only health and wellness award show in the world to donate a percentage of profits to help those from under- represented backgrounds into the healthcare communications industry. Winners of the awards decide how the money is spent.
Shaheed Peera, Founder said: “Thank you to our judges and our community who supports this very special awards platform. You’ve helped us raise over £200,000.00 towards helping under-represented and less-privileged talent into health and wellness agencies. This was another big year for entries with the fewest awards handed out, so a massive congratulations to all our Finalists. This years Winners will help inspire all of us who work in the healthcare communications industry to see what can be achieved with real everyday briefs. I believe that’s ultimately a win for everyone.”
A proportion of profits raised go towards helping more diversity an under- represented talent into health and wellness communication agencies.
In 11 years the Talent Fund and Diversity has raised over £200,000. Winners of the show decide who gets the money.
