In a move set to significantly strengthen its leadership team, VICE Media Group appoints industry veteran Rafael Lavor as its new Head of Strategy.

Rafael brings a wealth of experience from an impressive career spanning over 18 years. He has honed his skills in creative strategy, in-depth qualitative research, consumer studies, service innovation, digital communication, and brand management & development.

His well-rounded expertise is backed by a strong academic background, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications & Advertising from ECA University of São Paulo, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Urban Economics & Public Management from PUC-SP, and a UX & Interaction Design qualification from IED São Paulo.

Rafael’s portfolio boasts of work across local innovation consultancies and global creative agencies for an impressive roster of brands, including du, NEOM, Nissan, KFC, Peugeot, Nokia, Mastercard, Smirnoff, Volkswagen, Ford, Chevrolet, Embraer, Stella Artois, Tang, Uber, Deezer, Amazon, McVitie’s, Hilton, Abu Dhabi Investment Office and more. His leadership on various teams and projects has earned them recognition across the Brazil Effies, LATAM Effies, and MENA Effies marketing awards.
