Saudi Ad School (SAS) has joined Athar Saudi Festival of Creativity, the new platform for advertising and marketing professionals, aspiring creative talents, and all those with an interest in the future of Saudi Arabia’s creative field, as its Educational Partner.
Set to take place from 13–16 November 2023, the inaugural edition of Athar Festival will run over four days and comprises a two-day festival, two days of training for young talent, and industry awards. The Festival will culminate with the Athar Awards, which are verified by the Cannes Lions and Dubai Lynx International Festivals of Creativity and will recognise creative marketing excellence and the talent behind it.
This endorsement comes as an affirmation of the SAS’s ambition and role in empowering the next generation of Saudi advertising professionals and nurturing and promoting talent through industry-focused training programs that equip them with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to excel in the real world of the advertising industry.
This strategic partnership perfectly aligns with one of Athar Festival's key objectives: contributing to put Saudi creativity on the global advertising map and emphasizing its significance as a major economic driver and an enabler of Saudi Vision 2030.
"Ever since the announcement of Saudi Vision 2030, I have been deeply inspired by the transformative potential it holds for the Kingdom's youth, especially The Vision's emphasis on occupational training, as I believe that empowering the youth through skills development is a cornerstone for any nation's progress," asserted Enas Rashwan, Founder and President of Saudi Ad School(SAS) and Cairo Ad School (CAS).
“The Vision 2030, in my view, is not just a strategic plan for economic diversification and sustainable growth; it is a commitment to the Kingdom's youth. It recognizes the importance of equipping young Saudis with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the rapidly evolving global job market. This commitment is evident in the Vision's initiatives aimed at boosting employment, entrepreneurship, and innovation,” added Enas.
“The Vision's focus on occupational training is particularly significant. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development, it ensures that young Saudis are not just job seekers, but creators of opportunities. It encourages them to be active participants in the Kingdom's journey towards a knowledge-based economy,” she concluded.
It is worth mentioning that Saudi Ad School will be offering a discount rate on its programs for all Athar attendees who decide to enroll in their courses.
