Set to be the first of its kind festival in the Middle East, Saudi Design Festival (SDF) is set to transform Riyadh into a hub for creative dialogue from January 9 - 29, 2022 at JAX District.
Focusing on the power of transformation in and by design, SDF brings communities together to celebrate great design, reimagine the future, connect, and put Saudi design on the global culture and creative map.
The festival is hosting three Lebanese designers in a section dedicated to the art of typography: Kameel Hawa, Yara Khoury Nammour and Christian Sarkis. The designers are hosted by the prominent Saudi artist, Loulwa Al Hamoud. Each of the designers have an individual display, uniquely designed with inspiration from the designer’s personal studio.
Presented by the Architecture and Design Commission, the inaugural edition of the Saudi Design Festival is considered the first of its kind in the Middle East for bringing together creative luminaries, designers, and industry leaders to engage, discuss ad celebrate outstanding design.
