Sephora, the renowned omni-retailer, is the official beauty sponsor of the first ever season of Saudi Idol, which is taking place in Riyadh and airing on MBC Group TV & digital channels.
Sephora, in partnership with MBC Media Solutions (MMS), the commercial arm of MBC Group, customized a backstage beauty hub where Saudi Idol contestants can create iconic looks every week with the Sephora Pro Team.
The Sephora ‘pro-team’ will be welcoming all contestants, judges, and idol hosts, as they rally through the nine live performances up to the final, which is airing on March 15. The team will be introducing them to the trendiest beauty tips and tricks to ensure they are looking and feeling their best during the live sessions.
A Sephora spokesperson said that the ‘Saudi Idol Sephora Beauty Studio’ is the perfect backstage area, designed to amplify the Sephora DNA – it includes a customized beauty hub, a perfectly curated and relaxing interview space, and a product hub, which allows viewers to experience the newest, hottest, and most exclusive products from Sephora.
Meanwhile a spokesperson from MMS said that the company is proud to be a part of this campaign and in connecting Sephora with their Saudi audiences, enabling them to build a strong relationship with Saudi youth and familiarize them with their products through showcasing the latest beauty trends out there.
