The Creative Floor (TCF) Healthcare Awards have awarded this year's Talent & Diversity to four UK-based charities namely Key4Life, The Ideas Foundation, School of Communication of Arts and Brixton Finishing School.
The awards continue to be the only health and wellness award show in the world to donate a percentage of profits towards a Talent & Diversity Fund. This fund is dedicated to assist people from under-represented communities break into health and wellness communication agencies.
Shaheed Peera, Founder, The Creative Floor Awards said: “There’s never been a more important time to help those who don’t have the same life chances or opportunities as most of us. To all the amazing companies and individuals who enter this award show, thank you. Your entries don’t just celebrate world-class creativity and the talent in it; they open doors for those who need it most. This isn’t just about winning, it’s about lifting others up while making your own mark. We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you!”
The Creative Floor Healthcare Awards' aim since its foundation in 2014 was to help change the way award shows are run. Not only do the awards celebrate world-class creative but also agency people (various roles), clients and healthcare companies.
A proportion of profits raised go each year towards helping more diversity and untapped talent make their way into health and wellness communication agencies. The fund has raised over £200,000.00 to date. Winners of the show decide who gets the money. Previous winners have included The School of Communications of Arts and The Ideas Foundation.
Any charity or organisation from across the world can apply for the fund. Winners of the awards vote on where the fund goes.
