In collaboration with Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, IMPACT BBDO will host a free online information session to guide and answer questions from women submitting entries for 'See It Be It' this year.
The session, to be held on November 22 and featuring Laura Brown from Cannes Lions, will also have three women who have previously won a spot at the highly competitive 'See It Be It': Atiya Zaidi, Hira Mohibullah and Huma Mobin.
Also online will be Ali Rez, Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at IMPACT BBDO, who has previously mentored colleagues on applications.
'See It Be It' is a women-focused programme that aims to create equal opportunities for all in the creative industry – accelerating careers to work towards gender equality. The initiative’s goal is equal numbers, across genders, across all levels of seniority.
The 'See It Be It' talent programme was founded in 2014 by Cannes Lions with the mission to achieve equal gender representation of creative directors and leaders across the global industry. Successful applicants attend a four-day learning programme that includes mentorship, masterclasses with industry leaders, backstage access and sessions tailored towards each person’s career goals.
The online session will be held on Friday, November 22 at 6pm Dubai time, and is open to all women who are eligible from the Middle East region who work in a mid- to senior position in advertising, marketing, filmmaking, innovation, editorial, design, PR or any other related disciplines.
Women selected for 'See It Be It' get a fully funded trip to Cannes Lions, including accommodation and travel. They also receive an all-class Festival pass, so they can access every stage and session.
To participate, an email has to be sent to [email protected] with "SIBI session Confirmation" in the subject line, along with any questions you may have.
