Lebanon’s national beer, Brasserie Almaza, has appointed Leo Burnett Beirut as the lead creative advertising agency.
“We’re excited to start working with Leo Burnett, allowing us to reinvigorate the Almaza brand with the agency’s unique and fresh creative approach that will support deploying our revised marketing strategy,” said Brasserie Almaza Managing Director Michiel Verhagen.
Since 1933, Almaza has been a staple in households across Lebanon, and Leo Burnett aims to leverage its authenticity as the original local brew with their own take on the iconic brand.
Youssef Naaman, the agency’s Executive Regional Managing Director added, “We believe in the importance of change and making sure that the Almaza brand remains relevant and connected to the Lebanese consumers with each new generation.”
Previously, the account was handled by Beirut-based Intermarkets.
The new partnership, effective immediately, will involve brand building, strategy, and communication for Almaza, Al Rayess and Laziza and new brand introductions.
