At a recent network meeting, where more than 300 heads from TBWA agencies around the world gathere in Cape Town, South Africa, to share insights and thought provoking presentations, Jean-Marie Dru, TBWA’s Chairman, and Troy Ruhanen, the Global Network’s CEO, presented Ramzi Raad, Chairman of the TBWA\\RAAD Group – and four other old timers - with the TBWA Founder Award. The first of its kind, this award is a symbol of recognition of Ramzi’s affiliation with TBWA since 1986, and his partnership with the global network since February 2000.
TBWA\\RAAD has grown exponentially – out of Dubai – into Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. It has also expanded to become more integrated, including Corporate Communications, and Digital and Relationship Marketing, and much more.
