As part of the national celebrations for Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day, W7Worldwide, a Saudi independent marketing communications consultancy agency, has released a special video titled "This is my homeland, from end to end... we sing of our love for it."
The video highlights the beauty and diversity of the Kingdom’s culture and geography through an artistic and innovative approach. It showcases scenes inspired by Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage and history, adorned with national colors that embody a spirit of belonging and unity.
The video follows this year’s theme "We Dream and Achieve" launched by the General Entertainment Authority for National Day, which falls on September 23. It builds on the previous year’s achievements, including major projects that are part of Saudi Vision 2030, emphasizing the transformation of Saudi dreams into tangible realities and supporting national aspirations across various fields.
The 1-minute and 49-second-long video takes viewers on an exploratory journey across the Kingdom, showcasing its geographical and cultural diversity. It opens with a scene of a man riding a camel, unveiling breathtaking views of some of the country’s most iconic natural, historical, and cultural landmarks. Accompanying these visuals are some of the most beloved national songs that have deeply resonated with the Saudi people, symbolizing pride and belonging, performed by a distinguished group of Saudi artists who come together to celebrate their love for their homeland and its heritage.
The scenes move on to highlight the landmarks of Riyadh, starting with the historic city of Diriyah, the birthplace of the first Saudi state. The grandeur of its architecture is presented to the tune of "My Beloved Country" by the late artist Talal Maddah, paying homage to the nation's roots and authenticity.
The video then transitions to the enchanting city of Abha, showcasing its stunning natural landscapes and majestic fog-covered mountains, paired with the verses of the poem "Above the Clouds" by Prince Badr bin Abdulmohsen, beautifully sung by Mohammed Abdu.
In other scenes, the video captures the beauty of Al-Ula and its ancient rock formations, accompanied by the song "Mark on My Arm" by Mohammed Omar, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s deep cultural heritage. The journey continues to the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf shores, featuring the iconic King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), set to the melody of "My Country, My Country" sung by Siraj Omar. This reflects the allure of the Kingdom’s coasts, emphasizing their importance as a source of natural wealth.
The video also takes viewers to the north of the Kingdom, where winter snow creates a captivating natural scene, covering the land and towering mountains. This is paired with the song "O Homeland" by Rabah Saqr, showcasing the diversity of Saudi Arabia’s nature and climate. The journey then heads south, displaying lush green islands and towering mountains, accompanied by the song "Lovers of You" by Rashed Al-Majed, reflecting the unique beauty of this remarkable region.
