Digital Encom, a UAE based start-up with its unique Retail Operating System, has been named as Tech Asia’s fastest growing start-up. 

Digital Encom is developed as a retail operating system platform to provide technology-enabled solutions for the distribution of Digital gift vouchers, bill payment and phone top-up platforms enabling customers to buy, send, and manage top up and redeem vouchers (Gift cards) from a wide selection of respected brands. Digital Encom Operating system is focused on retail, B2B business, Telecom operators and enables distributors and merchants access to hundreds of digital brands to be sold through retail points of sale, to manage voucher inventory digitally, guarantee stock availability 24/7 and there is no inventory to maintain or physical cards that can get stolen, a single wallet account to sell hundreds of digital brand codes.

Digital Encom Operating system is developed based on Advanced API Technology running on Spectre’s Super Computing services. The Company's hosting primarily hosted through a cloud infrastructure provided by Microsoft Services (Azure cloud computing) and Qatar based SPECTRE Systems Super Computing services. Distributors of telecom prepaid cards whose entire business depends on the sale of recharge prepaid cards has seen their volumes collapse to unsustainable levels, due to Free Internet at offices, malls, shopping centre’s, WhatsApp calls and more. This has disrupted the prepaid recharge business of telecom operators and distributors to levels that were unsustainable for wholesale distributors. Digital Encom provided technology-enabled solution for distribution businesses to manage top up and redeem vouchers (Gift cards) from a wide selection of respected brands, bill payment, and phone top-up a platform enabling customers to buy, send, and manage top up and redeem vouchers (Gift cards) using the Digital Encom system without making any changes to their existing business to make their distributors business viable.

Digital Encom is changing how digital goods are distributed said Founder and Director Christudas Dai. The company has clients from UAE, Qatar, South Sudan, Libya, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia and Equatorial Guinea and is opening an office in Ruwanda to manage the African operations.
