Aramex, the global provider of comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions, has joined forces with Arab Cinema Week, becoming the official partner for this highly anticipated cultural event.
Organised by Cinema Akil, the UAE’s only platform for independent cinema, Arab Cinema Week Volume 3 runs until December 1.
The ten-day event offers a powerful lineup of films tackling some of the most pressing issues in the Arab world. The program featuring six fiction and five non-fiction feature films, along with two short film programs including 10 shorts represents a vibrant mosaic of voices, perspectives, and cinematic styles, reflecting the rich and nuanced landscape of the region.
As part of its partnership with Arab Cinema Week, Aramex has launched a unique creative campaign titled “Delivering incredible performances.”
The campaign includes five short, heartwarming ad films created by Aramex’s in-house marketing and creative team in collaboration with Little Big Productions and directed by Shahir Sirry, Aramex’s Global Creative Director.
The short films capture the joy and anticipation of receiving packages, mirroring the emotions sparked by great cinematic performances. Showcased as commercials in between film screenings, the Aramex campaign ads seamlessly weave the brand’s ethos with the magic of storytelling.
Going beyond the screen, Aramex also introduced branding elements to enhance the audience experience. Film posters created from Aramex’s previous ad campaigns, as fictional posters inspired by iconic movie visuals depicting Aramex in a subtle way were displayed outside Cinema Akil, alongside customized popcorn boxes designed to resemble Aramex delivery packages. The organic and creative integration of the logistics leader’s capabilities into the film festival resonated with the event's theme of celebrating Arab storytelling, creativity, and cultural heritage.
