Gambit Communications has been appointed as the Public Relations agency for Sharjah Sustainable City, the first fully-integrated residential sustainable city in Sharjah, which aims to create a net zero energy, vibrant community offering a unique and sustainable lifestyle.
The AED 2 billion project, spread out over a total plot size of 7.2 million sq.ft. of land in Sharjah’s Al Rahmaniya Area, is a joint venture between Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Diamond Developers to meet the highest sustainability standards and lead the global movement towards sustainable living.
Carl Atallah, Director of Marketing and Communications at Sharjah Sustainable City said: “The move towards sustainable living is a common goal for countries all over the world, and one of the first steps towards its success is effective communication practices. We look forward to working with Gambit Communications to educate the general public on the importance of sustainable communities, and Sharjah Sustainable City’s pioneering role in creating a working model for other developments to follow.”
Jamal Al Mawed, the boutique agency’s Founder and Managing Director said: “It’s an honor to represent such a revolutionary project, and one that will show that sustainable living does not necessarily mean lifestyle compromises. We are excited about telling their story and helping to spread awareness of this fantastic initiative in Sharjah.”
The account win continues the positive start to the year for the Dubai-based independent communications agency, which has seen them expand their team further with three new hires and collect 24 regional award nominations.
Gambit Communications launched in early 2019, and in two years of operations has established itself in the region’s communications industry, working with brands such as Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles, Ferrari, The Ritz-Carlton, Meraas, Swissquote, Help AG and Pagani among others.
