MBC AL-AMAL, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of MBC GROUP, marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2024 with the launch of a health campaign across the region throughout October.
Taking place under the slogan: “لن تحاربوا بمفردكم بالأمل نحن ندعمكم” (“You will not fight alone… With hope, we’re supporting you…”), the campaign, which begins in Riyadh and Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabi, not only focuses on media outreach and raising awareness but also includes a hands-on approach to support those affected.
Bassam AlBraikan, General Director of Corporate Communication for MBC GROUP and General Manager of MBC AL-AMAL, stated: “This brand-new breast cancer awareness campaign will leverage MBC AL-AMAL’s on-the-ground presence, starting in locations in Riyadh and Jeddah, before expanding to other cities in the GCC and wider Middle East.
“We will also be raising awareness of the condition and the importance of getting checked, with extensive media coverage across MBC GROUP’s various TV channels and digital platforms.”
AlBraikan continued: “With the support of our healthcare and charity partners, MBC AL-AMAL is dedicated to providing practical, hands-on support and education by offering visitors free medical consultations and early breast cancer screenings throughout this campaign. Various healthcare partners will be providing mammograms and other diagnostic services at their facilities in each city the campaign visits. What’s more, MBC AL-AMAL will assist in providing support for immediate therapeutic intervention for cases requiring urgent care.”
MBC AL-AMAL’s brand-new breast cancer campaign begins in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, featuring the attendance of celebrities and various media figures.
