Sumsub’s ‘Beast’ campaign has clinched several wins at the recent Muse Creative and w3 Awards.

With an innovative concept and dynamic strategy by global marketing agency Crowd, including three comedic films produced by electriclime° in Singapore, the campaign sealed ten awards across the two competitions.

Sumsub’s "Beast" campaign aimed to elevate brand awareness and generate business interest among medium to large-scale enterprises in the Fintech, Gaming, Trading, and Crypto industries within the APAC region.

Targeting Chief Compliance Officers, MLROs, Risk Managers, and other key decision-makers, the campaign focused on Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Australia.

The three comedy, social films produced by electriclime° were directed by Daniel Marjan in Singapore, with the Gorilla character portraying how fraud comes in the way of the users when the platforms they use are not secured.

And the message within the campaign has certainly hit its core audience, with multiple wins in recent award announcements.

At the Muse Creative Awards, it clinched three gold awards for Advertising - Online Ad (Campaign), Branded Content - B2B and Video - B2B, while also getting silver for Social Media - Ad Campaign.

Meanwhile, at the w3 Awards the campaign won two golds for Campaign - Banner, Display and Rich Media Advertising and Campaign - Marketing Effectiveness, while also adding four silvers for Campaign - Social, B2B - Social Campaign, B2B - Branded Content, General Marketing - Online Video.

As well as the wins, the campaign has also been shortlisted at the upcoming Drum Awards for Media Campaign (under $250k), B2B - TV & Film and B2B - Media, with the winners set to be announced next month in London.

Tom Berne, Managing Director at Crowd, said: “At Crowd, we are passionate about pushing the boundaries of creativity to deliver bold and memorable campaigns that resonate with target audiences. With Sumsub’s ‘Beast’ campaign, we wanted to highlight the importance of security in a way that was both impactful and engaging and stood out from traditional B2B advertising. We are honoured to see the campaign not only spark meaningful conversations but also receive such prestigious recognition across the Muse Creative and w3 Awards.”

Jeremy Hu, electriclime°’s Senior Producer in Singapore, added: “At electriclime° we love it when an exciting and fun creative is presented from an agency or brand, and bringing the ‘Beast’ to life was a fascinating and dynamic challenge.

“We’re thrilled that the films are being recognised so highly as part of the fantastic success of Crowd’s campaign.”
